Is Axiom planning to make this finish (currently on the MZero,VPZero) available on the larger models, i.e. M3Ti,VP100?

Hi Viet;
We have done high gloss finishes in the past. This particular finish adds quite a bit to the cost of the loudspeaker, so we have moved back to matte finishes in order to provide the best pricing available. |

Incredibly I was already stalking the Axiom forum looking for information back then, seems funny that so many years have passed so quickly
![]() I think I stumbled upon a "Soundstage" review(or was it "Home theater or something" with the comparison test of the M3, and the marble Norh[sp] and a Swan Diva)of the M3s while looking for any on-line magazines with speaker reviews, which lead me to the Axiom web site. ...the JBL HLS series had been cancelled and I was lost.... The forum was cool back then too! We even had a fella called "Ian"(I think)who would give lots of knowledgable and insightfull info on Axiom speakers on a daily basis!! I think things were simpler then; not as much competition, and not as much stuff to sift thru. Sometimes it's fun to go way back in forum time and see what used to go on. ![]() Rich. |

Thinking about the JBL HLS series that was popular around 2000,(or so) It seems that I recall the series going thru NRC testing just about the time JBL was bought-out and lots of stuff changed.
I did a Google on JBL and NRC and come up with.... Anyone remember these?(the HLS610 seemed to be a winner, and was my potential favorite of the breed.) I'd love to see some NRC graphs on those babies ![]() Since they were a bookshelf model, they may have been lots of fun for a while, but when floorstanders became a "must-have" I'd have been back at square one and still ended up with Axiom!! ![]() Probably M60s or even M80s since M3s wouldn't have been in the picture ![]() |

I used to own the HLS-810 (I believe that was the model). I was really glad to be rid of them by the time it was all said and done.

I had never heard the 610, but I'd somehow gotten the impression that the 610 had better integration between the tweet and mid-woof than the 8" in the 810.
....dunno ![]() however; never heard any of HLS series, so may have been disapointed as well! ![]() |
