I second this. I really don't think the M2s should be dismissed. The only advantage I can see of the M22s is extra volume. For sound quality and a typical listening level in that size of room, the M2s will be fine. I am considering M2s (or W2s) for my room of 12'x22.5' and I am sure they will be fine. Just make sure you have a decent subwoofer and crossover no lower than 80Hz (even 100Hz may work for that size of room).

Dont' write off that VP series until you've heard one.
Our VP150 is spectacular in its dispersion. I would have to be sitting so far off axis that the picture is degraded far more than the sound.
