Curious to know if axiom factory direct orders are often delayed. My system was set to be shipped on march 22, but when i called them on march 24 to see if it was already shipped, I was told that they haven't shipped it yet. If everything goes well, they might ship it on march 28. I just hope that i can get it by next friday as i have already invited friends over next weekend to hear the system.

I really didn't expect a delay from axiom as i had contacted them just last week and was told that it would be shipped by march 22. I got so excited and now i have to wait another 1 or 2 weeks before i get it

Is this a factory seconds order. If so, then you have to wait for the last item for release. If goods come off the line in pristine condition, no seconds are available and you wait longer. Seconds shipping is projected based on average losses to blems I'd bet.

Sorry to hear, but if they ship by the 28th you should have by next Fri. Hope it all works out.

I ordered them from the factory outlet section of this webpage. I was just told that the 5.1 system was scheduled to be shipped on march 22. But i guess maybe most of the speakers are coming out without any problems. Well, i thought i ask because no one told me that there might be a delay and i ordered the setup around late january.

What was the date for the longest item you ordered, that is the date they target, in most cases though, it will ship before that....You really don't need to check for updates as they stick to the schedules for the most part.

Sounds like you are mighty anxious to get your new Axioms.

ya, I definately can't wait to get it. i got everthing setup and even got couple of dvd demos from friends.
