speaker problem

I have sattilite and a dvd player along with a reciever. All the speakers work when a dvd is played, when the radio is on it only comes out from the subwoofer and when we are watching t.v. i get it out of one speaker only. any suugestions!

You need to give us more information:
What equipment your using? (receiver/speakers)
How you currently have everything hooked up?
etc....

Aside from the obvious that your receiver you may have loose connections, did you try running your TV outputs to the same input as your DVD to make sure the cables are working and the signal is a proper left right (eliminating the possibility of a faulty RCA out on the TV)?
Does your receiver have a sub-out or are you running a separate filter for that?
Check all your cables first. Swap cables to your one known working input (DVD). The built in radio on the receiver is a little more difficult and leads me to think that, if your receiver has a very involved setup menu that somehow the putputs got muted?

It's definitely not a speaker problem- It's an issue with the receiver. As the others said, more info is needed!
