What type of amp or receiver are you using?

With Dynaudio A52 or A70 speakers (4 ohm), my amplifier turns off due to overheating. It's ok when wired together (serial) but not great for Hi Fidelity result.

Most the Denons will drive the 4ohm M80's, my guess is and I'm sure the experts will jump in, is that your speakers are not ant easy 4 ohm to drive. If you are looking at Axiom speakers the M60's are a great 8ohm speaker.

Assuming the shutdown isn't immediate (caused by a shorted connection).

Your speakers at 86dB sensitivity are harder to drive than the more efficient Axioms.

There is a cooling fan in the 3300 which might not be working. It should be working pretty hard if you are overheating.

You might consider a 2-channel amp to take the main the load off the Denon.

Not only are the M80s on the high side in their sensitivity rating they are also an easy 4 ohm load for an amp to handle.

As you can see their impedence goes down to 4 ohm but not below.

My Denon 3805 would also shut down driving my previous speakers (Infinity Kappa 8, 4-6 ohm 86db). It is hasn't shut down at all with the M80's. I don't know the specs on the 3300, but my guess is it'll be fine with the M80's (others pls correct me if I'm wrong). If not, certainly the M60's.
