It's hard to tell exactly from pictures, but two things come to mind. Get your 22's closer to ear level and angle your center down towards listening level I have m22's and a VP150 and it took some positioning to optimize the system. Good luck.
M22's, VP150, QS4's, HK 630, HSU VTF3-MKII

I see that you have M22 and QS4. When you listen to music, are you using AVR ambiance mode like 5.1 stereo? so that the rear speakers plays the same thing as the front. If yes, how the QS4 compares to the M22, did they add more bass?

You definitely should get the center channel in line with the front of the tv. A shelf like this should work for you.
I love your room, BTW!

I hate to ask, but is your center channel upside down perhaps? I'm only asking because if the shelf that it's on is level, the center should point straight out, not at all upward.

It appears your right speakers is blocked by that huge lamp? Also your rear speakers appear to be toed in to far. I agree that you need to get the center closer to the front of the tv.

I just went into the archives and found out that my center is the AX1, if you look on the picture, I guess this speaker was designed to go under a tv
http://www.axiomaudio.com/images/HomeTheater_AX.jpg
it's the speaker at the bottom
I think that I already try to turn it upside down, but I think I had the same problem because of the shape.
I will need something to change the angle or use a shelf that I can adjust the angle.

I will see what I can do with the lamp, but what are you suggesting regarding the rear speakers?
I will try to fix the center ASAP

Go to your local hardware store and purchase 2 angle rubber door stops and place them under both sides of the center channel speaker..

Save you money. Just buy one and put it in the middle.

Regarding the center channel being placed upside down, aren't these center channels reversible requiring only the grill to be attached accordingly with the placement of the speaker?
I betcha if you flipped the center over and reversed the grill to match and maybe place a rubber doorstop (or in my case a couple of wood shims) for tweaking *and* place the front edge up front and center out to the front edge of the TV you'll have much better results. I also think you may need to recalibrate.
Edit::: I already see that the center channel's capability has already been discussed.
Do you guys feel if the M22's were placed a little lower (even with the TV perhaps?) that they may sound better? To me they seem to be mounted a little high. But I don't know much!

I'll be ordering metal brackets soon and there is a good chance that I will lower the speakers or at least orient them towards them in a more appropriate listening position.

Before ordering brackets check the location of the studs in your wall. I ordered FMBs, but I have one stud 4" from the corner, and the other 10". I had to custom order some omnimount Pro WA20.5 mounts. About the same price as the FMB, but a lot more adjustability, and it sticks out 5" so I can make both of my speakers 7" from the walls.
GO OILERS GO!!!!
