I was just wanted to know which one to go with my room is 12 ft. by 24 ft. with 9 ft. ceiling I have read about both and was looking for some in put on this.

In regards to the room size, either the 60's or 80's would be fine. I have the 60's in a much larger room than yours, and my 60's do an awesome job. What will you be driving the sytem with, that might determine what you order. The 80's being a 4ohm design can sometimes be picky on what AVR's work. If you have Denon, HK they will work for sure. Seperates is another option.

Anyway, what is your budget? Is this for HT or music or both?

Go with the M80s!!! That way you won't have any second thoughts later about upgrading. Mine sound great.

One think about the 80s is the fact that they sound great at low levels as well. The extra drivers just give the sound more character. IMHO.
