>>Hey Tom, (tomtuttle)Please empty your pm bin.

Yes, please do

I was a bit slow the first time I ran into this and thought it was *my* mailbox that was full... but emptying out the mailbox didn't help...

Just to confirm Dennis's info, the new limit(not previously announced by Axiom as far as I know)is apparently a total of 200 received/sent PMs. Confirmed this by trial and error(when I deleted to under 200, I was able to send myself a PM). Wish the old limit(was there one?)was still in effect because some old stuff of value(sentimental?)was lost.

Not sure there was a previous limit on saved PMs, but I can understand the need for one. As the forum membership continues to increase, so does the data storage area.
We have a Unix server in house that is used by co-workers and at no cost. That changed about 16 months ago simply becasue we need to keep adding drive storage for user files. When there is no limits set and users are not paying a fee, they tend to not think about cleaning house on a regular basis.
This is just MY OPINION and something I'm tossing out for consideration.

For anyone concerned about having to delete old pm's they could copy and paste to a word document and save them that way. I'm sure that would work to keep everything safe/in one place. However, i'm assuming you would also lose the smiley's

Looks like for a while sending PMs could be a problem, in the last few days I have mine down to under 40.
