Darn...
I wish I could do a clean job like that.
I still have lots of wire to push under the molding.

CONGRATS.

Hey Rick,

This room is awesome. Youve got a good bunch of stuff there!

Have you tried your sub in the corner or do you think its too boomy? It gave me about 5 times the bass when i moved mine there. Youd probably have to keep realigning your pictures and cds but...

I've also got my trim set to full which gives it quite a bit more punch. You?

Ive also got all speakers set to small, crossover at 80 for all and even know the speakers are already set to small ive also found that having the sub set to lfe only and not lfe+mains helps the crossing over sound better.

Hows that 7.1 sound compared to 5.1? Do you have High def dvd yet?

Im also a big SVR fan. Ive been playing guitar for 15 years but im still only half way through learning Little Wing. Do you play at all?

Auzzie1, I did have the sub placed tight in the right front corner but moved it inside of the front main for more separation with the mains and other than missing some stacking up of bass in the rear catycorner I haven't noticed any significant difference as far as sound quality. I believe the 500/600 sub would shake the foundation regardless of room placement.

I have my trim set to flat, which I believe is the recommended setting? Everything is set to small and crossed over at 80 with all LFEs to the sub for music and movies.

Yes the 7.1 sounds incredible *but* there is some awesome 5.1 material out there that sounds amazing. The Axiom QS speakers are simply amazing, the sound placement is as near perfect as one can expect and to me they look extremely nice on the walls and blend very well with the room.

Stevie is the man...no I do not play but my next winter project is to build a replica #1 for a little room decor. Good luck with Little Wing, what an awesome song!

Future plans include (besides finishing the room) acoustic treatments, complete separate electronics and probably a second 600. We'll see.

That replica #1 would be really cool to hang on the wall! Let me know how you go with that. Looks pretty hard.

I have a large open plan room with a side wall missing so i kind of need the sub in the corner to produce enough bass for my ears.

I'm too used to big subs and millions of watts in tiny, car airspaces.

Next house I build will definately have a dedicated music room and a dedicated home theatre room.

2 600's! That would rock. Good luck with the future upgrades. Its already a dam fine setup ...
