HDTV calibration

I came across something called Spyder TV for calibration. Has anyone used this? If it works well, it seems like it could be a good alternative to doing it professionally, since you can recalibrate as often as you want for no additional charge.

I know a few guys over at AVS have mentioned they have received great results from using this product..

That's actually a pretty good idea, you know. Not that I need it, but I'm sure you could round up enough folks to make the investment small enough to be worthwhile.

Sounds good to me, but I still need to TV first. It's about 2-3 months out for me at this point. I'm leaning towards the new model of the Sony SXRD without the side speakers and with the 1080P out.
