Ok, so when I built my bar I didn't realize that normal bar height is 42" and people use 30" high stools. I have been all over town and can't find any store that carries anything higher than 30", this sucks. I find this amazing as I'm sure I've been to actual bars whith higher stools.
Anybody out there have any ideas for where I could find bar stools around 34", which should work with my 48" high bar?

Randy, you could try somewhere like this Barstools Although my barstools are 30" I went to an unfinished furniture store and saved money by finishing myself. The store I went to had many oversized unfinished barstools, something you may have in your area.

That is an option, however, the basement as already carpeted nicely and I would hate to have to go over the top of all that...I did find a few places online and on Ebay that offer 34" and 36" stools of many styles...Thanks, Randy
