More to come...but this is what I have, for now. Once I have more time to set up my camera/tripod, I will post more pictures. And I also promise to clean it up, for the next 'photoshoot.'

I wish I could afford another ep-600...I think that would fill out the space where the guitar is, pretty nicely. Oh well...wishful thinking, for now. I also wish that I could hide the wires...but since this isn't a perm. residence...no need to screw up the walls. I want my security deposit back...hehe! Now...where'd I put that genie, in a bottle..???

Still working on getting 'stuff' into the room...i.e. the bare walls, etc. Still unpacking...and sorting things out. It will come along...and by the time the room is done, it will be time to move again...hehe! Oh well...not much, but, it's what I got!!!

The room does not appear to be that big, can't tell how deep it is, I would think one 600 would huff, and puff, and blow those walls down. I would recommend you get a throw rug or something. With that bare wood floor and what appears to be fairly bare walls, you will get a lot of echos reflections. I could not believe the improvement once I carpeted my basement, it was like night and day. Very small additions to room decor will help a bunch...

I had to edit the first post...since not everything is in the room yet. Just barely got it cleaned up, and set up. As for reflections it's not that bad...the wall to the left opens up, and there is a door behind the room. The room is long, as compared to wide...but everything seems AOK. I watched 'Nanny Mcfee' the other night...and there's one scene where she strikes her magic stick on the ground...the LFE comes alive...and all the magical 'effects' sound great.

The room is a work in progress...keep in mind, we've only been here about 3 weeks...so, I am just glad it is as clean as it is --

Very nice and "clean" looking. I wouldn't rush into that second EP600 either -- it's always nice to have but you probably have a lot of headroom already.

One question though -- my first thought would be to move the mains a bit closer together, away from the side walls, and put the EP600 on the outside. Depending on what the room dimensions are that might make the response better or worse (see Sirquack's thread on graphing his room response) but if the response worked out OK that would give you a few dB more bass in the important frequencies...

... like you really need more bass output

^^yeah, I have yet to do the sub crawl. Maybe this weekend...when I have a bit of time. As it is, bass response isn't all that bad, but I am sure that moving the sub and mains will help a little.

I also have the sub turned down quite a bit, since the owner of the house lives downstairs...don't wanna freak him out with the sonic boom on the floor.

I am sure once I get more stuff unpacked/sorted, things in the room will change.

Oh, and I highly doubt I will need a second 600. One seems to do more than enough.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Looks great, knowing what the EP500 can do, I'm pretty sure that monster 600 is more than enough to make those walls come down , and as Randy said, you will be amazed at what a little bit of room treatment will do for your overall sound. Keep us posted as to how the unpacking and changes in acoustics comes along.

EP600 looks soo cool!! I wish I can have one, I only have my EP500 about 1/3 up its volume and it already rocks EP600 would definitely break the stud and joist behind the wall/floor in my room. Hmmm, on second thought, I'll stick with EP500 (don't want to loose the whole room )

Mind you, this picture was shot in the dark, with flash. I used my fiancee's point and shoot...so the colors may not be quitre what they are supposed to be, and there's a little bit of shakiness in the shot. Once I have the room set up a little more, I will take other shots, and post them up.

Here's a sample of what my Canon 20D can do...

I know...OT...but, hey, this is just a 'sample' thread. Hehe!!!
