I've tried to search for someone mentioning the products I found for matching speaker impedance with amps, but couldn't find anything. I'm not sure how I found the site in the first place, but then I do surf a lot on occasion...
Anyone here use this stuff at zero impedance to match the 4 ohm M80s to an amp preferring to drive 8 ohms? I'd be interested in anyone's experience and opinions.
Just curious.

Martin, that site appears to be a collection of total nonsense. There's no need to "match" the amplifier to the speakers.

JohnK I totally agree, a 'Zero Impedance' amplifying machine? Oh Lordy.

Martin I believe you'd be much better off spending your hard earned bucks on this little crown jewel of a service (click here) to find that perfect sound we all seek from our systems.

I'm thinking John and Rick will agree.

Yes indeed, those cables are glorious. Unless you get them straight from the factory (which manufactures them with extremely high tolerances!), in which case, they're full of gas, electrically charged, and sound horrid.

The sad thing is there is someone out there that really believes this stuff and actually spends their hard earned money on this trash.

If your speakers are 8 ohms or less...

Well, that narrows it down to just about ALL speakers. Good marketing!

Let me start this by saying that I'm not interested in these products, especially considering their price. However, did any of you respondants take the time to go to the TECHNICAL tab and read this guy's "White Paper" information? Seems he is mostly geared to the tube amp market. I was mostly wondering if solid state amps would be at all similarly affected by speaker impedance. Some of it makes sorta sense....

If it costs about a grand for a bunch of copper wire and a small handcrafted box, you hackles should be raised.
