M80ti vs. M22ti Transparency?

I really enjoy the M22ti's.
Venture to guess.

Question: Probability I get the M80ti's to supplant the M22ti's as my front L+R mains, and I'm unhappy with some aspect of the M80ti's performance compared to the M22ti's (in terms of sheer transparency, imaging, other elements smaller speakers are prized for)??

My large room can easily accommodate the larger M80ti, but I'm wondering if the M80ti can seemingly disappear in the room, much the same as the M22ti does. I really want to add the M80ti speakers but I'm concerned I may lose some of the elements I find so enticing about the M22ti's.

Thanks!

You do not need to worry. The M80 and M22 are very similar designs for the critical area of the spectrum that gives you that transparency and imaging you want to maintain. The M80s will give you this same performance with added dynamics and low frequencies to really round out the overall performance.

M80ti 3-way delivers better sax sounds?

I'd love to have a pair or two of all your speakers in my home now so I could try out all kinds of combos!

I'm heavily into Jazz, and want know how much more mid-range information the M80ti model delivers over the M22ti model. I find the M22ti to be very nice (nothing lacking really), but if I knew I'd be gaining that extra little improvement (perhaps due to the 3-way design of the M80ti?) in the speaker's ability to reproduce the saxophone sound, I may want to bring in the M80ti's to the home.

Thanks!

Where you will notice the biggest difference in the mid range by going up to the M80s will be as you move up the volume levels. The M80s will keep that very controlled and accurate mid range that are inherent in both the M22s and M80s to very high volume levels.
