First we have the front

Side in piano black finish

Rear of the chassis with no amps installed.

Some pics of the emp-300 monoblocks that will slide into the chassis to drive the m80's. I've placed a standard contractor utility knife for size comparison.

Installing of the amps....

Wow, seeing that beast in relation to other things leaves an impression. If that works well for you, I'll have to go the same route. It seems like a really good deal.

My backround is in computer networks and telecommunications so I love anything that is rack mounted. Hope it sounds as great as it looks.

Especially women, uh, I mean... even an old Cisco 2509 router that needs a transceiver to connect to anything (modernly) useful?

Randy, your site seems to be in need of an update.

Dude, you know how busy I've been lately.

I just had a nice talk today with one of the engineer/designers of the Emotiva amps, I think we will be getting somewhere soon, keep ya posted.

I know, I know, pictures of the new Ebony speakers and an update of the website. Just not enough time it seems.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I've been looking at the BPA-1 150watt amp thinking I could use 3 to power my mains and center. I could then let the old HK power the surrounds.

It's even more temping now that the price has been reduced down to $159US.

Yep the BPA 1 is very possible and performs well I've heard. Some people purchase 7 or more of them and stack them in a triangle. ;0

Eh, about the same power rating as my H/K, and it doesn't look like it's a good idea to bridge into 4 ohms, at least reading the back panel of the thing. Oh well. Can't get something for nothing, I suppose...

I don't know of any home amp that can handle a 4 ohm load while being bridged.

None if you have 4 ohm speakers.
