I've been considering the w150 versus the vp150 for its lower profile and the fact that I can embed it in the wall under my wall mounted plasma. Has anyone run this configuration or have any opinions one way or the other on how they compare in sound? If there's a big difference, maybe I just mount the vp150 despite the profile.

I plan to buy this with the M60s and QS8s using my existing Infinty sub. I watch mostly movies and listen to rock and jazz.

Lou, welcome. The W150 has been designed to be essentially identical in sound quality to the VP150 when both are positioned similarly, so that shouldn't be a concern. Unless the "low profile" is essential, you should instead consider adding a third M60 vertically beneath the plasma(if there's room)for the best sound.
