Greetings,
I am working on designing a 7.1 system for my new home that is under construction. I am considering M80's for the front mains, a VP150 for the center and QS8's for the surrounds. I already have a capable SVS sub that I will use. The issues are mainly with the surrounds as one will need to be mounted on a square column and the back surrounds will be on bookcases. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this setup? Here are some details about the room:
19'6" x 16' 12' ceiling Left side of room is open with 2 square colums spaced 4' 6" from front and back of room. Rear of room has a fireplace with recessed bookshelves on either side.
I am concerned about how the surrounds will sound as one will be on a column and 2 will be on a bookshelf.
I have a .pdf of the floorplan with handwritten speaker configuration but figure out how to post it.
Many thanks for any opinions or suggestions.

I believe you have to host your file somewhere, and then point a url to it.
If you cant host it, I could probably set it up for you, just PM me.
