This subject comes up quite often, and my comment is always the same. Get the M80s.

That way you will have the best and you won't wonder what would have happened if you had gotten the 80s instead of the 60s!!!!

He did say it was for home theater not music. With a subwoofer (preferably an E500 or 600) and the mains set to small and crossover at 80, wouldn't 60's and 80's sound pretty much the same?

Tonally, perhaps, but the M80s would likely have more clean output and a different dispersion pattern (I could be wrong as I've never heard them, but the fact that it has more drivers and is a bit bigger suggest this would be the case).
