Hi everyone,
I am another newb to quality home theater. Ive been doing research for a couple weeks now, and Axiom is one of my front running choices. To be honest, the WAF approval is pushing for the wood color choice (not black/white/silver).
Setting up in an apartment, the living room is 17'3" by 13'3", open to the dining room. The area used for the theater setup is 13'3" by 7'(wall ends & opens to dining room). Its small I know. Im moving in July, & will end up with a larger living room.
So, bearing in mind that they will eventually be needed in a bigger room, my best bet for fronts would be M22/VP100/M22
Will i really notice the difference of the M22's over the M2 or M3's?
(Not worried about surrounds, im sold on the Qs8's)!
Thanks!

M22s sound like a great option. They will work well in a small room as well as a larger room (as long as it's not cathedral sized). If the budget permits, go with the M22s.

If i go with Axiom, i will probably try the m22's. Im torn between the Axioms, the Onix (av123 lx series), and the Ascends (though they push my budget way up).
Does anyone have any experience with the AV123 LX series?

Watson,

goto audioholics.com and check out their reviews on loudspeakers, the M22ti's are included in their reviews, and the M3s.

They have also reviewed some of av123's stuff.

For my 2 cents, you just can't beat the value of the M22 ANYWHERE on the internet.

M22's are lovely and should sound delightful in your room. Do make sure you plan for some kind of subwoofer. The M22's just can't hold down the low-end on their own. A sub will take your M22 setup from 'nice' to 'WOW'. If you're on a tight budget, HSU subs are supposedly very tough to beat for the price.

I've never heard AVR's speakers, but the folks that have them seem to just love them - very similar to us Axiomites. I've lurked around on the AVR forums enough to know that much. Nice folks over there too, kind of a similar vibe as to here. AVR has recently started doing completely no-risk trials (they pay shipping BOTH ways if you return them) on their bookshelf speakers, so you could actually give them a try without any risk.
