Oh great, just when I thought I was done spending money on this stuff.....Ian comes up with computer speakers for my work office, in wall / ceiling speakers that will work for my whole home system that I never got around to finishing due to lousy sounding speakers available, and now wireless speakers for my decks.

Then a bubby and was just asking me for ideas about how to add some non intrusive, in-wall electronics and wireless speakers for his living room plasma he just bought. Perfect timing.

I like the new board too. Where’s the remote for my EP 600?

Small neodymium rare earth disc magnets would do the trick.

Well if that's the case, they aren't expensive!

Will the standard (non wireless) outdoor M3s look the same (size wise) as the ones pictured? If so, those things are huge.

I was hoping to get a pair to hang under the eave over my patio. From the looks of them though, I don't think they'll fit. Even if they do, I'm not sure my wife would go for it.

Your wife sounds like my wife. Much to my surprise she thought the patio speakers in the same colour as the side panelling blended right in and were hardly noticeable unless you pointed them out. Maybe these are the first of an entire outdoor speaker line with different sized speakers?

In that application, you would probably mount them horizontally. It would be nice if the grill extended the entire length of the front baffle (for a more natural look in that configuration).

Wow, I too am amazed at the rapid expansion of the Axiom line. I'm especially excited about the computer speakers. I had been considering a M2/EP125 combo for my PC, but then I'd need a seperate amp to power the M2's. I love the new EPZero with a built in amp. That simplifies the setup a great deal. Two questions if I may. Any thoughts as to a time line for when we might see them? If you mentioned it in the first post, I missed it. Also, will the EPZero also sport the Intelligent DSP design that the EP500 and EP600 have? Sounds like a great package... I can't wait!

I've currently got a pair of M2's hooked up to a sony receiver on one of my computers. Sounds good, but I'm certain this new product is better...it certainly is better looking and easier to set up!

Definitely, but they are still huge!

Stymie,

The wired outdoor M3 will be the same size as the current M3. This is the size of just the grille in the wireless version pictured from the show. The added section on the wireless version is where the amp and battery are held.

Hi Wegiz;

The computer system is hopefully going to be released for Father's Day and the EPZero is not a DSP design.

Thanks for the clarification Ian! The probability of getting permission to get a pair or two just went up. Of course, it is easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
I can't wait to see what the outdoor color (colour ) options are. If the options include anything close to an almond color, it's a done deal. (Especially if my wife has any input.) If not, I'm easily persuaded toward other color options. It's all about the music, right?
