This is pretty much what happened with me as well. I didn't even audition other brands, I basically took a look at what speakers Audioholics.com had reviewed, came accross the Axioms, and the fact that they were Canadian was just that much better, I like to support Canadian companies.
I am blown away by my speakers, I love em!

You guys are a total riot. I have to admit that I have a Canadian connection. I happen to have worked for a major Canadian based telecommunications equipment company for the last 16 years. I have a soft spot in my heart for Canadians, eh.
