Not a bad idea at all Rob.

I experienced this to, but luckily didn't fully take my hands off it so no damage done. You learn rather quickly to make sure to get the T bracket engaged, and then before letting go, test it a little by pulling down gently while still holding the speaker securely with both hands.

I think its safe to say that when I finally mount my QS8s, I will stand with my hands under it for about an hour...

hahah...

that IS pretty funny. I had a new development Jason, a fellow co-worker of my dad (in an energy company) and I got on the subject of home theatre and monoprice.com (I just ordered a bunch of cables for the company they are starting through monoprice, VGA, cat5, etc...). Turns out has heard of Axiom audio (he is a geek too) and he told me he has an old projector in his basement he isn't even using (only 480p) about 3 years old. He offered to loan it to me until I get my HD projector...I was a bit taken back and was totally freakin happy.

I will now be able to mount the M3 above and below the screen, I am thinking it will sound just stellar!
