Just received my pair of M60s. Haven't been able to even hear a note yet as my new amp is in the mail.....sob. But they do LOOK rather majestic flanking my entertainment cabinet.

Anyhow guys one grip. The 'manual' included is woefully inadequate. One little pamphlet for your entire product line... come on. You would be well served to include some kind of documentation that covers basic recommendations on things like room placement, wiring, impedance, amplification, break-in period etc.. Wouldn't this cut down on all the tons of EMail on these topics?

And... one stupid question (OK two): What am I suppose to do with those washers and nuts? Looks to me like you just screw in the feet or the spikes. No? And even with the spikes screwed in all the way they're way too long and would pierce completely through my carpet and pad. Do you have any longer spikes that I could use WITH the feet and have them stick out only, say a quarter of an inch??

Can't wait to hear these puppies!!!

adios

puppies seems so poetic, as in The manuals are dogs! but wait......you have YET to hear 'em! Real kibble munchers!

Nice customer focus on that one Axiom! Perhaps on the luxurious vinyl cladding, you could inscribe the manuals for each?

Mass marketeers standing shoulder to shoulder with advertsing magazine shrills.......stupid is as stupid does!

How many more recommendations of his products with greater cost and profit margins are we to beleive?

OK Nimrod

Interesting post.... but what ARE you trying to say?

P.S. I think the word you're looking for is shill not shrill - shrill is an adjective: as in what your tweeters should NOT be - shill is a noun: one who promotes something.

Liked your explanation of shill vs. shrill. But you're correct; the manuals need much work. And guess who's gonna revise them? Moi!

As to the feet/spikes, call our service manager, Joe Vassallo, at Axiom, and he'll explain how to install them or send you a diagram. Starting on the M80 manual now. . .

Yes, I must agree....that was classic!

About the manuals Alan, will they be available online in PDF format? That would allow owners to have permanent copies and electronic copies. Also, it would allow potential owners to view them before purchasing. This would be especially useful if they were detailed and contained specifications, recommendations and maybe words of wisdom from the company.

Just a thought.

Ummm . . . I'm lost on what 'Nimrod' was trying to say, as well, but I can answer your post, BBIBH! We are definitely planning to add the manuals in PDFs to the site as soon as Alan has the 'customer friendly' ones finished! He's got some great upgrades planned, and you're right, it would be nice if everyone had access.

Yes, I think I get the message, but would guess "Nimrod" is a way of life, not just a post name!

Anyway, I think it would be great to see some"world class" documentation on your products. That would solve many user problems, and leave them with a great feeling of pride of ownership!

I look forward to reading them.

Regards,

BBIBH

This is a rather old post.
Have the manual pdf versions been completed yet?
