With this tiny dorm room I would love to put some flat speakers on the wall, but can you do that with cinder block? Stupid cheap dorm. :-(

Hey Whitney, have a look at Axiom M3! More affordable, small footprint (ideal for a dorm I think) and I have read only praise on them in this forum.

She enjoys going to specialty home theater shops for demos and such, and is very picky about what things sound like and isn't afraid to tell the salesperson that they're full of it. I've had to convince her on more than one occasion that we don't need (nor can afford) $5,000/pair speakers.

Good for her! It pisses me off that sales act like us gals are stupid. I like to put them in their place when they try to feed me full of crap.

Woo hoo, party at Dan's room - he's the man with the hook-up. I guess I'll have to check out the M3. Funny, they are named after a car that I like. Is that on purpose?

Dan, do you have QS surrounds above AND below the upper bed, or were they just mounted differently in the two pictures ?

Actually, BMW named the car after hearing the Axioms!
