To which Dan are we referring? I'd like to know. I don't just go wishing a happy birthdays willy-nilly.

(That was just an excuse to use willy-nilly in a post.)

Happy belated, Dan.

Boards must have been deathly quiet yesterday if only a few responses to a birthday thread.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I've had my system and pc all disconnected since Friday. For my big 40th bday I decided it would be a good idea to install laminate wood flooring over the weekend. Needless to say, I wish I would have hired someone to do it. Never again will I install flooring! To top it off, on Saturday the power went out on my block due to a fire on a transformer. Power was out from noon till midnight! The one time I decide to install flooring the power goes out. We had to cut every single angle by hand and I have a lot of angles in my place.

Let's just say that on Sunday evening when we finished, I felt extremely old lol and sore! I'm taking this from God as a personal message to stay away from any more hard manual labour. I got the message loud and clear!

Thanks again all!

Now if only I could get my speakers! This waiting is killing me.

Hey, I just finished putting in a Marmoleum floor in my living room this weekend. It goes in like a laminate (tongue in groove). Fortunately, my power didn't go out and I only needed to do straight cuts. Putting it in myself was a great excuse to buy a table saw, too.
