No, not a kit car, the original (well, one of four) Knight Industries Two Thousand, or KITT - the black Trans Am from the TV show Knight Rider. Yahoo news story here

Yeah, I heard this on a local readio station this morning.
I loved that show as a kid.
I wonder if someone still has a good version of K.A.R.R. as well....
