The XLR input that you can see in the picture will also accept a 1/4” phono jack input. We supply a ¼” to RCA adaptor for each input that allows for a revolving 90 degree acceptance of an RCA cable.

No offense, but isn't the correct term 1/4" TRS jack? I thought phono referred to an RCA jack.

Again no offense, I'm trying to make sure I understand because those XLR jacks look like the TRS/XLR combo jacks

Didn't I just point that out? Oh well

They supply an adapter.

Ian is the final word.

1/4"
can be a few things....the TRS Tip-Ring-Sleeve or Balanced
or Unbalanced which is TS - Tip-Sleeve.
Also 1/4" stereo TRS.
I know I will be corrected here, but with under 20 ft of a 1/4" run and being mono channels, it is quite possible to run an unbalanced 1/4" between the Pre/Pro and the amp. No need for a TRS. But as pointed out an adapter is given. but if you have the AMp seprated from the Pre?pro more than 20 ft then chances are you will run a TRS or Balanced 1/4".

or, you could call it:

"The Axioms Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster"

"It makes listening to music like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick"

Now that would sell.

I haven't been this nervous/excited for a long time. I'm still not an axiom family member yet, but my plan is to replace all my speakers with axiom gear. My first purchase will be the QS8's but the wife said not until December (seeing as how I just spent $2500 upgrading my TV and receiver), unless I can pull a miracle out of my butt and save up for them...i'm hoping this contest is going to be my miracle.

Everyone was quite astute to pick up on this one. The correct term I should have used is a ¼” phone jack since they are not balanced. If you wished to use a balanced input then the XLR jack is balanced. The phono jack is the RCA side of the adaptor, so the adaptor is a 90 degree ¼” phone to RCA phono. A ¼” TRS is usually designated to a balanced input and a ¼” stereo phone jack is usually designated for an unbalanced 2 channel application.
