CLEVELAND -- The Mariners scheduled doubleheader in Cleveland on Monday was canceled by inclement weather. With sleeting rain, snow flurries and a projected high of 34 degrees, the games were canceled just after 8 a.m. (PDT) this morning.

All four games of the scheduled four-game series (Friday-Monday) were canceled by weather.

No schedule has been announced to make up the series.

I've been singing this Bowling for Soup refrain all weekend:

"There's nothing wrong with Ohio
Except the snow and the rain
I really like Drew Carey
And I'd love to see the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame"

Four consecutive snow-outs?!?! That really wrecked the rhythm of my weekend.

Jack, it's even overcast in Southern California. Been that way since Saturday. It rained on Easter morning. Keep your bad weather to yourself.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, Tom, but would the rhythm have been more harmonious when the Tribe swept all four?

They could always extend the Cactus League. I don’t think any of the games down here got snowed out.

It's April, John. We don't entertain such notions yet.

Mark, I just noticed something... Is your new avatar mocking my dog?

Sooo...... its Jacks fault that Dallas TEXAS got snowed on Easter weekend.

Now we're expecting close to 80 tomorrow.

It was snowing in Vail, all the way over to Denver, on Easter morning...

Almost made us miss our plane back to Austin, where it had been sleeting, snowing some and unseasonably cold...

I doubt Jack (or his weather) had anything to do with that...

LOL! Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I've been setting up a new computer and trying to figure out how everything works in Vista. Confusing so far, but I'll get it.

Took this photo out my front door Saturday. Over on the East side of town, in the town of Solon, they had 30 inches over the last 5 days. We had around 15 inches where I live. That'll teach 'em to play baseball in April.

Yeah, in Alberta this time of year is more suited for things like finishing the curling season than starting the baseball season. Edmonton hosted the men's world championship this weekend. I caught a few macthes and the US and German teams gave Canada a run for their money, but the home team pervailed.

I see the Worlds is in N. Dakota in 2008.
