Hello everyone,
I have a couple of questions:
I was wondering if someone out there has ever matched Blue Circle equipment to a pair of M3ti. I just bought a CS Integrated and I want to buy a pair of M3ti. Many people swear by them and others just say that one should go for the M22's. I'm building a stereo set up for music only so between these two, which pair do you prefer? Which budget cables would you recommend for interconnects and speakers?

PS: My room is medium sized.

tubesorSS,
I think this is the question you need to ask yourself.
Which sound do YOU prefer?
You can find plenty of comparisons on the sound characteristics between these two models in these forums.

As for your room size, could you be a bit more specific than 'medium'?
The M22s will do better in a larger room but that is not unexpected of any speaker that is larger than another.

My room is about 12x20x9.
I'm primarily interested in the synergy, or lack thereof, between axiom m3ti and BC CS Int. The common practice is to build your system around the speakers, but I had to do it differently. I couldn't audition the equipment I was interested in before purchasing it.
As to comparing the m3 vs M22, I want to know if one of them is a better match for the cs. Of course, I just want to know of other's experience to use as a reference.

Tube,
I am a person who does not believe the mass hysteria surrounding the ability of an amplifier to drastically change the sound of a system (somewhat technology dependant). With that opinion in mind, selecting your speaker model will do far more to change the sound than swapping the Blue Circle components for Classe, or Parasound or whatever.
I have all the confidence in the world that the Blue Circle components will do very nicely with the Axiom speakers even though i have not heard them myself.
As has been mentioned many times before, the Axiom sound is very neutral especially for the M22s (see NRC graphs here) such that the quality of sound will be highly dependant on the source recording. The M22s should do a better job of filling a room of that size compared to the M3s.

I have a pair of the 3Ti's in a room just about that size, and they fill it quite well, but I can not comment on the 22's (haven't heard them).Radio Shack cables should be fine, but I prefer MIT's Terminator 4.
