Looks like we have two Birthday boys today. Happy Birthday to both Randy and Joe.

Okay, didn't want to jump the gun, but since it's now that day both in Florida and Iowa, Happy Birthday to Randy, Happy Birthday to Joe!

Happy Birthday, Randy! In honor of your avatar, I'll have to scare up some Guinness this weekend and knock one back. Cheers!

And one more Birthday wish to Spoiler! Joe, in honor of your birthday, I'll tip back a. . .cranberry juice?

Hey, I don't want you guys to think I'm an alcoholic or something.

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the thought...I didn't expect to have a thread started... a nice surprise. I do believe there will be a couple of dirty gin martinis with my name on them this evening.

Happy Birthday Randy! Your amp in yet??

Thanks Everyone for the B'day wishes. I spent most of the morning unwrapping my work desk as my team wrapped everything in bubble wrap. Oh yeah, the black balloons and fake tombstones to remind me that I'm over the hill now.

Oh well, maybe my wife will let me get that new Convertible Camaro when it is released soon.

Joe, Happy Birthday to you also! Hope you have a great day. Klaus had to go to Germany for a 2 week trip to visit relatives and his partner amplifier company Symphonic Line. I should get it around the 12th.

Randy (old farts club) ha ha lol

I've always heard 40 is the day.

At least I've had about 10 hot girls from my work come up to me and say they thought I was still in my 20's. Man, if I was only single again, they just don't make women today like I remember from back in the day. It is nice when you work for a company that has 3 women for every man.

Happy birthday fellas!

The bad news about old farts is that farting is the only fun we have now. Sadly, the ability to maximize duration and tonal quality seems to ebb with age.

On the plus side - Guiness seems to add some impact missing in other similar beverages. Brilliant!!

C'mon Randy, med up! Then you will not be wound so tight.

Holy crap! I almost missed my boy's birthday (Mr Quackmiester)... Hey Randy, you live SOO far away I almost missed your birthday (for those our of the "loop," Randy lives all of about 15 miles from my house... And we've never met...) (Oh, and I have no ideal who is in or out of this "loop" so don't be offended, for all I know, you are in it!)

Joe, I can't tease you as much, but that is probably a good thing. Best birthday wishes to both of you. Sit back, relax, and crank up something on your Axioms... You deserve it!

Thanks everyone. My wife said I can either have a Nintendo Wii or a new power washer.... hmmmm this is a tuff one. I really could use the power washer to keep my commercial mower clean when I mow my 100,000+ Sq Ft yard. Oh sorry SonicFoxBabe, I'm not supposed to talk about large things.

Nick, we have spoken over the one that one day when I called you at your previous job. I think it would be cool if we could plan a little get togethor with some of the Iowa, Illinois, etc.. bunch. I know some people that have DIY Speaker conventions in various locations. It would just be cool to meet other Axiom owners and maybe compare equipment.

ps: I bet I could make it to your place in 15 minutes on the new bypass. However, it would take 2.5-3yrs to Sonic's penthouse and maybe 4-5 hrs to Rick's place on Route 66.

Yeah, but how many CUBIC feet is it?

You gotta love the midwest. Btw, Randy, your lot is about ten times bigger than mine. I'm sure you'd be horrified to see new homes here on .08 acre lots.

Anyway, like Nick said, have a good one. You deserve it.

Well Tom the atmosphere is about 60miles (surface to edge of space) or 316,800 feet. So I guess I have about 31,680,000,000 cu ft. I may need to get a few more EP600's to fill that space.

Welp, I don't know about Randy, but it's 7am and after 2 LARGE martinis... hmm... I should be ok by noon.

Randy... choose the Wii!! They're still hard to find tho... If you're in to console gaming at all, Nintendo definitely hit run a home run with its design. I'm now 47 (ow), usually prefer desktop gaming but I love the thing!

Randy - a birthday gift for you = secret location to buy Wiis.

My daughter lives in DC and went to Best Buy / Circuit City last week to buy her husband a Wii. Both places had 10-12 units a long lines to get at them.

They overheard somebody laughing as they looked at the line and that person mumbled something about Toys-R-Us having a bunch of them. They went to T-R-U and there were 50-60 Wiis on the shelf and nobody shopping. Quick & easy.

Shhhh, keep this QUIET.
