Jason, welcome. Your 330(and there's no need to use the "entry level" term)should have no problems driving any of the Axiom speakers if it's driving your present speakers to adequate levels for your use. The Axioms are average to slightly above average in sensitivity and don't make any unusual demands on amplifiers.

The 330, which HK rates at 65 watts per channel by the more realistic two channels driven standard used by most receiver manufacturers, is conservatively rated even at that number and likely could justifiably carry an 80 watt rating. The amount of maximum power(average level would use 1 watt or even less)that you'd actually use depends on a number of factors, including how wide the dynamic range of the material being played is, but in the vast majority of cases wouldn't reach 100 watts. From your present experience, this seems to apply to you as well.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

Thanks eveyone for your input. It seems like the concensus is that my 330 will work for normal listening levels, so I won't factor a new AVR in my budget when making my buying decision.

Now I just need to decide whether or not to go through with it, and buy Axioms. I'm looking forward to a possible audition as soon as I work out the scheduling with a local here in Seattle. Hopefully it will happen this week so I can quit shopping around, over-analyzing reviews, comparing specs and obsessing over this speaker purchase decision.
