Wow! You are the most decisive poster I have seen on these boards .

If you are planning on the 2500-7, make sure you make provisions to power it from two separate circuits in your house.

Thanks Alan.

Hopefully Ian will have the spec sheets up before the pre-buy deadline. As much as I’ve grown to trust Axiom, I still can’t put money down on something without specs.

Hey thanks for the new title I was actually looking at the 1000-5. One of the great benefits of the amps is that you do not need separate circuits like you would/might need with convential amps.
Here is some very brief info from the manufacturer.

I agree that you don't need a separate circuit for the 1000-5 but you would need separate circuits for the 2500-7.

More practically, you would need a 30A circuit (like your electric dryer if you have one).

Enjoy your amp.

On a somewhat related note, since it contains the ICEpower amp, has anyone heard the B&O Beolab 5 speakers? I found one review here.

Looks like an over-weight lawn light to me .

The Audio Critic really liked that system. I wouldn't mind hearing it. I never really knew B&O made anything that justified the price. They had a presence in a Portland mall, but I hadn't heard of the system back then. I'll have to try to check it out again when I visit my friend in Portland next.

I thought the omnidirectional idea was a good one. From what i've read they are a company that supposedly strives for sound excellence through acoustic research, though alot of companies do say that same thing.
