The acoustic panels made a huge difference in the quality of sound.

Since its a family room and not fully dedicated HT room, the wife will not let me put those panels up.

It's difficult to tell for sure on my screen, but is the finish is Eggshell White? With the eggshell white grills on the system really dissapears into the room.
