Not gonna wait in line. I'll definitely read it, but I'll be patient about it. My sister's husband is going to the store tonight to buy two copies--one for him and one for her. That way they don't have to fight.

And, Ken, I've kinda lost track of what's happening in the WoT series. Guess I'll have to reread the books. Again!

Every time I read the next WoT book it is like trying to catch up with what is going on. Things have gotten pretty detailed. I think I am giving up on it until and if the series is ever finished. Then I'll read it all over from the beginning. Robert Jordan has been sick though, so I hope he continues to do better and that there is an end someday: Jordan's blog

I own all of the WoT books, but I haven't even read the last two. It's been so long since I've read the others that I'd basically have to start from the beginning again. I don't know when I'll be ready to turn that many pages again.

Yeah Jack, but don't forget that over 60s don't have to pay late fines at the Cleveland Library, so some awfully slow reading may take place.

Well for $48.00 I just ordered all seven from Amazon. This will be my first time reading any of them, so I might as well start from the beginning,

They don't? How thoughtful. Unfortunately, I use my local branch of the Regional Cuyahoga County Public Library, not the Cleveland Library. Oh well. Fortunately, the CCPL has a liberal renewal policy for books already checked out and I can renew via the internet.

Michael, in hindsight, I wish I'd done what you're doing. At my age, I've pretty much forgotten most of what went on in the first six books. Reading them in sequence would be terrific. Hope you enjoy them.

I have the book. From Amazon. And I got the free super saver shipping! The postman said I was the first in my zip code to get it.

Suckers!

Ahem...

Now the question... do I read it now, reread the sixth book now and then read it, or do I finish the series I'm on, and then read it?
