The Puppet Master

It's a commission from Jeremy Bastian. I know Dave G. is a fan of his
as well. I came home from a long day at work to find this on my steps
at home.

The idea I had was to show Mephisto (or death - Jeremy chose Mephisto)
as the puppet master behind all of the tragedy that's plagued DD's
life. DD/Matt has had more than his share of death in his life.

It seems that pretty much anyone Matt cares about ends up dead! (Hang
in there Foggy!) His father, Heather Glenn, Elektra, Stick, Karen
Page...egads!

Jeremy managed to capture it all in a stunning, and elegant way that
doesn't look too busy - considering all that's happening in the piece!

If you like the DD piece, be sure to search Jeremy's name on CAF...there are some other lucky
guys out there with commissions from him as well. His "The Shadow" piece is what inspired me to track him
down for this DD commission.

I think that it portrays what you thought it should very well... Not my type of art, but it does look exactly as it should, I think. Thanks for sharing.
