Hi, what is the difference between the 2 series? is it internal parts? they look the same, but are they the same? if not why the rebranding?

I have searched but haven't found treads regarding this. I'll try again.

To be fair, it would be difficult to search on this topic. That said, I'm tired of explaining it.

Search tip: check the dates you are searching on. The default is to only search in the previous week.

In a nutshell: There's been a series of changes made over the years. Enough were made that Axiom decided to change the moniker. There are changes to crossover, binding posts, and cabinet shape, which were all made at different times. There's not enough of a difference to warrant upgrading, in my opinion.

Sorry Rome if I sounded short tempered, I've been around Ken to much. \:\)

As Ken mentioned, many changes happened over a long period of time. The drivers have been moved around, different binding posts, cabinet shape, etc. Also, I think the frequency response graph changed slightly on a few models, possibly because of the slight changes made to the internal crossover.

In other words, there have been no drastic changes, they still all sound awesome...
