Do you have custom tubes in your Antique Sound Labs MG SI 15 DT amp? I was looking up info on it and everything I read about it says it does 15 wpc (hence the 15 in the name).

I've been wanting to seriously audition some tube amps for a long time, but it'll probably have to wait until I've got more discretionary funds available. Since I'm just starting a family, that might not be for quite a while.

The ASL MG SI 15DT has two output modes - 5 watts per channel in triode and 15 watts per channel in pentode. I've given both a good listening, and prefer the 5 wpc triode mode by a long shot. Much sweeter.

I've done some tube rolling on this amp, both the KT88 power tubes and the 12AX7 tubes. Rubies and Svetlanas for the big one, and 1964 vintage GEs, Electro-Harmonix and Mullards for the 12AX7s.

Is it a single-ended KT88 in triode connection?

Yes, Sushi, Single End Triode goodness, with a whopping 5 wpc output, extremely low noise floor, enormous sound stage, gorgeous mid range, strong bass, pure highs, the perfect compliment to a nice pair of Axiom bookshelves and a compatible sub.
