I have one VP150 in my 4,000 cubes and I can stand anywhere in the room with the dialogue anchored to the centre.

I have had my VP100 and VP150 in parralel centers for an outstanding centering effect in my meager 1500 cf listening area but it does open to another 1500cf area in an 'L' shape. I have found dual centers works incredibly well no matter which speakers you use.

I have one VP150 in a much bigger room and have no complaints.

I know that audioholics.com preferred double VP150s with their Epic 80/600 package. Not sure how big their room was, but they said it sounded much fuller than a single VP150.

I am running a 6 channel amp with a 5.1 system. So I have an extra channel on the amp that is not doing anyting. My Rotel pre amp has 2 jacks for 2 center channel speakers, So all I would have to do is pick up a 2nd VP150 and go.

Or, I could pick up a 3rd Qs8 and go to a 6.1 system. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

I think a second VP150 would be better than a third QS8, this is just my opinion tho, I am running dual M2s above and below my screen and I think it sounds awesome.

I agree with Rob on this. A second VP150 would make a greater difference.

If the VP150s are rated @ 6 ohms (compatible w/8 ohm AVRs), would that make the load 3 or 4 ohms?

only if ran in parallel, it would be 3 ohms for a VP150 run in parallel, however, he has an extra 6th channel that he is not using, thus, the load will be the 6ohm standard.
