You're 48 Mark? Wouldn't have guessed that high.

53 going on 30, last I checked (which I do less and less these days).

"Old people" can use the Internet. Some of us even helped build it... ;-)

Cheers,

Doug

Somebody has to be old around here. I'm 58 and can run 5 miles daily. Have run two marathons since I turned fifty. The mind is the first to go and well, I can't remember what's next!

Yup, the HUGE individual difference in the speed at which one's BODY and MIND gets "old" is by itself an exciting biomeical research topic.

I know I look much younger than I am (even in the eyes of Asian people), but I admit that my physical performance is not as good as even a few years ago. As for the "mind," I always try to keep this little boy in my head.

And I guess littleb misplaced the following post in an apparently unrelated thread:

littleb says: I'm 49, have 3 boys--20, 19, and 16 and I've just discovered the wonder that is axiom audio. I can't believe I actually listened to Technics for 20 years. When my wife was pregnant I found her to be more attractive. She had a certain glow, a certain smile, even a swagger I found appealing.

So, you guys work out (i.e. lift weights)? I just started again after about 8 years of atrophy. Looking forward to my best ski season ever this winter.

Incidentally, I'm at my in-laws house in Tarzana (SoCal) this long weekend. It's damn HOT! My dog hasn't stopped panting from her walk 2 hours ago.
