About to buy a flat panel tv. I wasn't going to wall mount it - it was going to sit on top of a low media stand. Only problem is where to squeeze vp100 - Is there inconspicuous stand which will raise the tv up enough to fit the vp100 underneath it and yet have the front of the vp100 fairly flush with the front of the tv. I suspect the second bit is the tricky part. So maybe I could trade up to the flatter version of the speaker - would rather avoid the expense if possible. Any ideas? - love to see some pictures from anyone who has solved this elegantly. Peter

The Salamander Synergy line can do that. You can get a twin and then add a riser that will lift up the TV. Under the riser you should be able to fit a VP100. I looked at this before, IIRC it was barely enough height to fit a VP150.
The only caveat is that it's pricey. I got lucky because I was able to find some pieces locally via audiogon.com.
