I haven't heard the sub. I am sure it's great for portability (eg. tradeshows, demos, etc). But if you plan on putting this in your house, spend a few extra bucks and get an active sub.

Velodyne has a new very small sub out that a few folks on some other threads I have read says works quite well. Velodyne Microvee
