The first version, after I moved in almost 4 years ago

Version 2:

after:

notice the wires are dropped down the hole near the ceiling

surrounds coming out of the wall into the receiver

Version 3 (new ent. stand, table, rug, curtains and VP150...oh yeah..and crown moulding to hide the wires):

Now all I need is a pair of M80s, a new couch and a replacement Blu-ray player and I can call it quits \:\)

Looking good! I've always liked your space and now it looks even better in terms of being audio friendly--moved that big leather chair away from the front right channel.

Looks good, I like the crown molding!

Are your Qs8's at least 4" from the ceiling?

Also, what type of stand is your vp150 on?

I'm curious about the center mount too... can you post another picture of how it's secured to the wall? (and answer terzaghi's question about what type of stand/mount you used).

Thanks.

Nice digs, ditto on the center mount. We are in the market for new stands, audio and video, and that center mount just might make a good addition.

It's an omnimount i got off of amazon:

depending on your set, i would recommend using velcro. For instance, I have a RP TV so I affixed velcro to the back of the set and the bottom of the feet of the stand. I find that this is more secure than the rubber feet of the stand.

It's not attached to the wall. It sits atop the TV.
