I had a similar dream as a kid all the time. My mind was a bit too grounded in reality, I think.

Apparently there's a guy working on a glide suit with the goal of landing without a parachute. Now that's insane! I read an article about him. He's going to build a giant landing strip, built at an angle so he'll land as if down the side of a hill or something. Still insane, but not quite as batshit insane as regular flat ground.
