I was kind of wondering about those hot dogs on the skewers?

:P

If it was dog it was damn tasty.

Basically, you point at the skewers or hand them to the dude, he grunts back at you in Chinese, then he cooks the stuff for you...they use this amazing combination of spices.

After I initially tried some things, we bumped into another couple of guys from our group, one of the guys spoke a little mandarin and I found out I ate Chicken leg, Chicken Hearts (Didn't like that too much), Pork(who knows what part), and Beef(who knows what part).

The noodles we had cooked up literally came from...a 5 gallon paint bucket. Looked gross but they were the best noodles I've ever had.

I would try it.

That reminds me. I need to watch Stephen Chow's God of Cookery again.

It looks like this may have gotten off track a bit, but being in Germany I had to post that I have been enjoying some fine Dunkels, Weissens, Pils, and even a Kolsch.

You know this country is doing something right when I pay less for a beer here than I would for a soda!

It's a Google Maps project for beer. Beer stores, breweries, pubs, beer bars, and even homebrew stores. I just checked out the DC area and found a store I need to try not far from my house! Yay!
