Gizmodo to the rescue! The white House theater was converted by FDR in 1942 (was a cloak room) and its current decor is the result of a refurb by Laura Bush (no word on who picked the equipment). Well, sure, seating 40 people is nice, but I don't see any cup holders. How come I can't get no tang round here? (Homer's question to the president for you non Simpsons fans.)

i'm sure the theater will get a nice blue colour to it sometime next year. Give Laura some props though. i'm sure after Clinton turned the theater into a strip club/jazz club she had alot of work to do
