Just saw this house for sale on HGTV...

Holy crap- it is for sale for $75,000,000. The 'manager' of the house said that this is beyond what most actors/ athletes can afford- so the market is very limited- maybe to some rich business type.

Check out the website:

lots of videos and pics and stuff.

The home theater room looks kinda neat- what type of speakers do you have in the theater of a 75mil dollar house?

edit: you have to ahve a password to view the ineractive layout \:\(

I've actually driven by that house, surprisingly in that area of Corona Del Mar and along the Newport Coast any house under 10 mil would be considered the low rent area.

I like everything but the price. \:\) Most multi-million dollar homes look too stuffy and sterile to me. This, I could live it for a while.

I don't like it because it looks like it has in-wall speakers in the theatre \:\) .

Every Multi Million dollar house I have worked in belonging to some CEO or who knows what is always the same thing. Decorated by some interior designer who seems to get most of her furniture at some dump in a 3rd world country.

Everything is very sterile and not home like.

There are tons of people who are there everyday just to do upkeep on the place.

Maids, Property managers etc. Why?! If i had the money for those houses yeah i wouldnt mind having one but I sure could do without someone else telling me what looks good and taking care of my own house.

Oh yeah. and IN WALL speakers. Although I have installed some pretty sweet in-walls. Most of those places are less homes and more like little compounds.

yah... you can drive your car down into the basement- and there is a strip that is a recreation of the owners home town... sort of a waste of money if you ask me

For as amazing as it is, and for the price, I would have thought that it would have been more secluded than that. I know that if I was dropping $75mil on a home, I'd want at LEAST 5 acres all around it (100 acres plus the area taken up by the land)... Then again, Sure, 100 acres would be hard to find in beachfront property, but dang, for $75 MILLION!!!!???? I think that I could get some of that anyway and not a neighbor about 15 feet away!
