So far I like what I am seeing.

We're wondering if it is intuitive enough - you can't preview the images before you post them. Anyone who would like to try, please jump in! Maybe we can just post instructions at the top?

Can we put the shout box on top of the gallery?

I think the gallery might help sell more speakers than our shouting.

I agree, I like the shout box below, less distracting.

The Gallery is pushing the shout box down too far for my liking as well, not that I use it alot. I wonder if limiting the gallery to 2 pictures but a random set each time a new page is loaded or a streamed set of pics to one frame? I know this wouldn't work for those on dial up so maybe a way of not having it load in the first place ie, active content or no active content.

Or possibly show 2-3 pictures at a time, but include a scroll bar like the shout box...

Well, since you asked, I'm all for getting rid of the shout box and the new gallery and diverting that funding into more engineers who can design more products.

The shout box and gallery don't cost anything, and Engineers tend to want salaries.

I see that there is an option I can enable that will enable message board members to turn off the left sidebar or the right sidebar if enabled. We could actually break the gallery out to the right hand side and have a right and a left sidebar and you could view them or not. This means that the forums would get awfully skinny for some people though.

I think two sidebars would be way too much.

I like Amie's idea of being able to turn on and off the sidebars.

Question about the new gallery feature. I see that you can initially upload more than one picture at a time. Is there a way to add additional photos after the fact to your initial post?

It would be nice to keep everything in one location instead of in multiple posts.

I don't see currently how you can. Agreed, it would be nice to be able to edit your own posts/pics.
