Well Jared...if you perceive a box making noises that shouldn't be there, try sticking a heavy beaver on it. Or, lie it horizontal.

Thax guys..

I ending up picking the 2700 ..

i choose the M50s because the i thought they would be better

but you guys think the m22 would be better then m50???

also i wife likes the look of the M50..

No i am confused \:\)

Why is the M22 better.. Plus can u help understand this whole Freq Resp thing.. that seems to be the only difference b/t the M22 and m50??

The M22 is very detailed, the M50s are more laid back. The vocals and mids come through with the same or more intensity as the bass on the M22s. It is the other way around for the M50s.

Just because a speakers response is the same as another they can have very different sonic characteristics.

Kalma, You can get a bit of the detail of the M22 if you upgrade to the M60.

Check out the Factory Outlet for 10% off regular priced items. You might be able to buy your whole setup thru the outlet (which many of us on the forums have done) and get a killer setup for 10% less than normal priced items.

This may allow you to upgrade to the M60s which have one 5.25" driver to provide a better more well rounded speaker outputing a bit more clarity than the M50s.

I was quite happy with the M50s for several years.

I'm happier with the M80s. Just to add to your angst.
