Thanks for the notes, and thanks again for sharing. I'm still hoping some others offer up some discs.

Okay, so my online friend, Cari, finally sent me her mix CD. There was a bit of drama involved, as in the person she's living with who is paying for her tuition didn't like her spending money to send a CD to someone she talks to online. Anyway, I finally have the disc, only to find out that Cari somehow forgot to burn anything to the disc. Ha ha. So she's sending me the tracks right now, and then I'll be able to share the mix with you guys. She shares a bit of music with me, but I recognize very few of the artists represented on this mix. Who wants to try it out? PM me if you want a copy.

All right, I just listened, and I can vouch for Cari's mix. It's great. \:\)

Charles, I strongly suspect that what happened was that when she wasn't looking, Cari's boyfriend switched a blank disc for the one that she'd burned for you. It's likely that he's been telling her that you're probably some old pervert who's planning to eventually set up a meeting with her and do all sorts of lewd and indecent things. If she enthusiastically responded "Sounds like fun!", that might have irritated him even a bit more.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

\:D Well, she doesn't have a boyfriend (or so she says), and I already did meet her in March, though I forgot to be indecent. She's the one I went to meet in Sean's neck of the woods. She gives me most of my music recommendations, though with this mix it's obvious she's been holding out on me. *shakes fist... lewdly*

Got my TuttleTunes CD yesterday. I am looking forward to taking time to listen to it tonight but if the weather is nice, I have to finish the gel coat repair work I started on my kayak.

I think I need a set of those Axiom Garage speakers. They would go awesome with my Jeep, diamond plated metal, light switch covers.

If you are wondering why I am worried about rain while working in my garage, it's due to the dust from sanding the gel coat. I need all doors wide open to survive.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

I have been reading this forum with great excitement but have not until now mustered the courage to ask if anyone would be willing to send a CD my way. Unfortunately I have nothing to offer in return. In our home theater, we watch a movie once a week or less on average and hardly listen to any music save for the several old CDs I keep spinning. I would love to hear some of the music you have been sharing, and you can safely assume that I have not heard majority of the songs. I can reimburse for the cost of the CD and shipping, but forum rules may limit me to "paying back" by sending a blank disc back. (Not a fair trade by any means, but I can always send back two blank discs for every full one :)). Thanks.

John
