Think you misunderstood me, J.P. - I wasn't calling you a pusher... but every city's got "those doctors" you know you can go to to get whatever prescription you see on TV and like the ads for.

I don't get the feeling you would intentionally push a pill on one of your wac... er, patients just because of kickbacks.

Sorry if you thought I had my eye on you.

In medical school, we were warned about this local doctor who saw people for two conditions: back pain and sleeping problems.

It was so obvious that he fit your description, it was to the tune of being greeted by the receptionist thusly: "Are you here for back pain or insomnia?" Therefore, the patient was able to select his Rx du jour.

I didn't think that you were looking at me, but in the interest of full disclosure, I figured I'd lob my info out there anyway. Gotta keep a clean conscience. Well, as much as possible. ;\)

's OK, Brother Bren.

From the "Should I or should I not share this with the group?" File:

In college, I had a maroon three-speed bicycle that had old-fashioned handlebars. It was close enough to Pee-Wee's that I got teased in that fashion quite a lot. I was able to roll with it and perfect his laugh.

For the end-of-the-year slideshow during the dorm banquet, I took some pics of my bike parked in front of some campus landmarks. It was good for some laughs.

Now pardon me while I go to the local cineplexxx for a quick afternoon matinee ...

As long as you're sure it was the bicycle causing the teasing.

Yay, I guessed right. What do I get? I'm totally not scared of the prize.
